ABOUT US

My website design and maintenance service provides web sites that work for my clients to promote their business or interest.

Equofax was established following the outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease in the United Kingdom in 2001, when I established 'Farmtalking', a web site and telephone help-line for farming families

The first Equofax web site was Grantshouse.info, built in 2002 to promote my own village, it's history and activities, and local small businesses.

Since then, other web sites have been built and maintained for a number of clients covering a variety of subjects and the services offered continue to grow. (See the Portfolio page)

I work in partnership with Andrew Stephens of Mediavets, who manages the servers hosting all the Equofax sites, Andrew has over 25 years experience in the IT business.

As the Internet expands and new programs become available, we strive to 'keep an eye on the ball' and up to date with the best of the new technology. The Hardware to improve the performance and the Software to improve the appearance, adding interest to Equofax web sites to make sure they 'work' for our clients!

It can be a little daunting when first deciding to have a web site of your own, but advice from Equofax is 'free' and 'fair' and clients are welcome to visit the studio in Scotland to discuss their requirements with me.
Arrangements can also be made to visit clients if required.

Why Equofax? - The name I chose roughly translated from Latin means 'galloping stimulus'.
Imaginatively designed, Equofax web sites are created to 'stimulate' interest in every client's business and thereby, assist them to 'gallop' ahead of the field, whatever their business or interest!
